For my final project, I took on the role of technical writer for an ed tech company. Since my background is in teaching, I thought it would be fun to marry my experience in the classroom with my love of writing in a technical way.
As any good teacher knows, managing behavior begins with building relationships with your students and getting to know them on a deeper level. One such way to do this is by having daily check ins which allow students to share with you how they're feeling or things they may be curious or excited about. YouHue is an app which allows students to do their daily check in on a tablet or computer and send responses to their teacher in real time.
YouHue is a great way to incorporate social emotional learning into classrooms, so I created the following:
a proposal for integrating YouHue into PowerSchool's software offerings for school districts
a white paper titled "Improving Student Social and Emotional Development"
a YouHue user guide for students and educators
